Ian DeftyPartner, Begbies Traynor
Ian is a Chartered and Certified Accountant and an Insolvency Practitioner with well over 30 years’ insolvency experience. He was a partner in a top 20 accountancy firm until co-founding niche insolvency firm, DDJ Insolvency, based in London. Ian was instrumental in merging DDJ with CVR Global in 2017 prior to their acquisition by Begbies Traynor in 2021.
Nic BeishonDirector at N37 Ltd
Nic is a previous chair of the Business Information Providers Association (BIPA) and is proud to be a founding member. He works to promote and educate on the pivotal importance of business information within Government, the industry and the wider business community.
Following the financial crash, Nic worked with UK Finance and Government to design and implement SME commercial credit data sharing (CCDS) between the designated Banks and the Commercial credit reference agencies. He chairs the industry data quality working party supporting the HM Treasury governance group with a genuine desire to see increased market adoption of CCDS as a prime data source.
